Coming to the end of the project and closer to the hang show and art week getting excited but also nervous. It has given me a chance to think over the work I have done and the things I have achieved. I know now i want to focus defiantly on ceramics and do a lot more in printmaking.

I did this drawing a while back when I felt truly lost in my work not knowing where to go or what to do, I felt it was all pointless till I finished this drawing and it hit me.
If you don't put in 100% then you will never get the result you want.
Working hard and staying on task is hard but if something is easy to gain or do then it is probably not worth doing.

A Prisoner to something or someone

Since I have been working on my Brothers Grimm trying to keep up and doing what need to be done I have noticed that you end up doing nearly anything to get what you need. At the moment my work is keeping me prisoner from everything including this blog, I can't even dream with out thinking about what I need to do next in my work. I have even put my journal in my weekend back for when i go to work just in case I have an idea, I am not complaining but i feel my work taking over me.

Red Riding Hood though it is not exactly true to the original story i think its a great version and also the point of folklore is that is told though generation by generation and may get distorted. The story starts with a girl speaking about staying on the path and being a good girl but sometimes someone leads you off the path. The wolf kills RRH sister and they call a man to kill it but the men of the village decide not to wait and kill it, father Salomon arrives saying that they have not killed the wolf that it walks among them after a while it becomes a who did it game and RRH is stuck in the middle because she understands the wolf who asks her to go away with it. RRH gets accused of being a witch and the two men who love her try and save her from the wolf but both have asked her to run away with them, RRH has a dream about her grandmother and the wolf and goes to visit basket in hand finds the wolfs human form and after it was killed she puts rocks in the body and the body in the river hiding the secret forever

All done and finished up i am so pleased with my piece it came out so much better than I thought

I watched Burlesque one night while doing my report on post modernism. When I heard about the film I was excited to see that Cher was coming into film and music again because my mum had always spoke about her voice it was like she was a lost legend. At first glance she looked the same as when she sung "If I could turn back time" on the battleship USS Missouri, though I notice now she is not the same in looks but she has not lost her strength or will which is just as important.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that may things like Post Modernism will be pushed and pulled in many directions and dragged through the dirt but like all good things/people it will last out the storm and become better through it all.

One of my words is shoes at first I thought oh god what am i going to do I hate shoes!!
